Toughing it out

Monday was hard! Like really hard!

Body pump; struggled
300 abs part 2; sloppy
Spin; Meh

Today was more mentally exhausting than physically. Everything just felt harder. I was not mentally into my workouts and work felt like...well... work. I just felt on edge and irritated most of the day.

I don't even feel passionate about this post! YELP!

O wait a minute.I know what is going on here. If you have not guessed it from all the signs; tired, irritable and massive, massive chocolate cravings.

Aunt flow! Monthly gift! Skinning of the ovaries! (Wait, what did she just say??)

So I want to start reviewing some of my favorite beer with you guys but I feel like I need to create a consistent and "professional-esq" rating scale.

So before I create that, I will leave you latest drink fave-o-faves:

One of my favorite holidays beers but there are many more that top this one. I just happen to really like Shiner Bock. I had it for the first time 2 years back in Austin, TX. The bar was actually giving them away for free! Apparently in Texas they regard Shiner Bock like PA regards  Busch Light. I like the Shineer Cheer because it is actually a bavarian wheat. Most holiday beers tend to be heavy stouts or porters (my fave) or a spiced lager (Yummm). It is also a holiday beer that I can drink more than one of unlike Brekenridge's Christmas Ale (Another one of my favorite holiday beers and breweries. I have literally never tried anything bad by Brekendridge. Literally)
Not a holiday beer nor a craft beer. BUT I enjoy drinking, In mass quantities.

My absolutely new favorite drink; Crown Royal Maple and soda water. I could pound this all day. And then I would be dead.

I also recently tried a new pairing with whiskey; peach schnapps. I know right?! Who would-a thunk it? The bartender at Georgia City Light's, that is who. Genius.

In my last post, I mentioned the Beer Bourbon and Bar b Que Festival in June. We went there last year with these amazing people:

And saw this amazing sight:

Needless to say, our plans are to return again this year.
