So Friday was super fun. NOT. My brain forgot how to do work. Imagine trying to work a calculator stoned.
FUZZY FACED FRIDAY.

I started off the morning with some body pump (5:15 am!!!). And that is where my workout ended. I brought my gym bag to work all set to workout afterwards BUT happy hour just sounded so much better.
After work, the red head met up with some friends at Jess's Restaurant and Lounge. We had not been there in about 5 years. Our favorite family owned italian restaurant is going out of business soon. They sold their liquor licenses to an incoming Olive Garden and their land to Speedway.
Damn the man and his big industry!!
Seriously, their food is amazing and their happy hour is AMAZING. 4-7 pm; tons of micro-brews; half off. Was your mind just blown?
Ok that small blurb was not descriptive enough for mind blowing today. You just have to experience it.
And so did everyone else in Hermitage thought so too because the wait last night was 40 people deep.
The food at Jess's was really good and I officially found my new fave salad: cajun blackened chicken with sweet and hot peppers.
The company at Jess's was even better. I believe we sat and talked for two and half hours. A lot of it included discussions on beers. Craft beers. Beer advocates unite!
And because we could not get enough of them, we invited them over today for football!
After dinner, Kyle and I headed to our new favorite bar. It is tiny, cheap and two blocks from our apt. Phil's dependable taxi has lost a lot of business since we moved into town.

After that amazing-ness, the red head and I split a pitcher.
